Hot. Super hot. Much Mac luvin.
My laptop is now my shadow. Or perhaps more accurately it’s mine. My entire schedule is entered into the planner in my email program, all colour coded. OMG organisation! I’ve downloaded and installed all the Mac-equivilants of the programs I was using on my PC. I’ve pretty much got all the ins and outs down. Most of the shortcuts are either extremely self-explanatory or I remember them from the limited Mac experience ever so long ago. She’s already loaded up with a ton of new software. The music editting capabilities of and programs available for this computer are no where near ceasing to impress me.
There’s this program called Stickies that leaves little Post-It note type things all over your screen… I used to open Notepad every time I thought of something that I wanted to jot down, and there were a million text files on my desktop with one sentence in them… Stickies was written for me. And the open stickies collapse to a little bar… So they don’t even take up much space! It’s the greatest.
Basically everything I could do before I can either still do just fine, or do in a much better, much neater way.
This is damn near one of the best things I’ve ever purchased. If not the best. I can’t think of anything better at the moment.
