I just realised, almost too late, that I jumped into the middle of the Star Trek Enterprise Viewer’s Marathon. “Coming up next, another episode of Enterprise.” It shows a clip of the appropriate captain…. And it takes a couple of seconds to realise that it is Star Trek Voyager airing, not Enterprise.
A few theories.
1. All copies of Enterprise were destroyed so they had to improvise but never bothered updating the voiceovers for the commercials.
2. Someone “accidentally” put the wrong series in.
3. Someone realised that a Start Trek Enterprise marathon was up there with Sci-Fi’s worst ideas ever and did everyone a favour.
Who knows. Turns out I’m not sticking around either way.
