And this is one blog that seems to have gone.

Life really provides more than enough bollocks to fill a million existences worth of blogs. I have endless text files with tiny phrases and short sentences referencing some random observation of serious events and some nutter thing that happened as I walked by. My email drafts folder ended up loaded with more confusion than my inbox ever did – it did make for excellent quick note taking in the time before iPhones and millions of synchronising note programs. It usually took having 8 text files open and unsaved and an overloaded draft folder for me to run through a stream of backdated posts filled with insight, wisdom and hilarity. Or bollocks. Or both.

I’m going through photos people have taken.

It doesn’t seem to be the case with random scenery photos, just when it’s more deliberate photos taken by the type of person who won’t walk anywhere without a camera in hand – it’s like following them, seeing the world through their eyes.

And a group with the same goal is all that is necessary to have a support group.

Four of us decided to try to lose 10 lbs in the next 4 weeks. There isn’t a prize and nothing bad happens if you don’t manage it. The idea is to just do the best you can and see what you can reach.

Every time I use the restroom at my school, or anywhere with the auto-flushing toilets for that matter, I’m always glad when everything that was in my pockets is still in my pockets. I’m watching it flush with the momentary power of a tiny black hole, and thinking, “Wow. It’s a good thing that the car, house, office and mailbox keys with my USB jumpdrive that are hanging precariously from my back pocket stayed hanging precariously from my back pocket.” I’ve stood up a number of times at home and realised my drivers license and credit card were on the floor. Maybe once or twice I’ve dropped my mobile.
