Really..? (14 photos)
Because evidently buying a computer is more important than your life and that of everyone else on the road. Who shouldn't be there anyway, either.

My new kitten! (49 photos)
This is my new kitten! Her name is Kavipo. She's a bundle of crazy. I gave her a box with a towel in it on my bathroom counter, and she loves it. She's wonderful!

My aquarium. (2 photos)
The plants are actually growing. Probably speaking too soon. Usually something happens right around the time the tank starts looking this green.

Detroit Zoo. (141 photos)
This is my trip to the Detroit Zoo. Zoo hours weren't designed for people like me. I spend lots of times at specific exhibits... Although, I'd be surprised if you could cover the entire zoo in one day if you just walked by every exhibit on your way to another one. Short hours, big zoo.

The Garden and Sea Inn (53 photos)
This was the bed and breakfast that we stayed in when we went out to Assateague National Park. We stayed in the Attic Room. The bedroom and the bathroom were separated by a little hallway. It was at the top of the stairs though, so it was completely private. We had breakfast every morning in the dining room downstairs: stuffed apricot, cream cheese french toast, and blueberry pancakes. There was a large flower garden behind the house.

Holly, Assateague Island - May 2006 (325 photos)
This is Holly, a Chesapeake Bay. She was a ton of fun, loved fetch and swimming. She was with her da, the man in the blue shirt., and her da's da in the tan sweater. Her da flew them in from NY. Literally... He owns a small plane.

Nichole's cat. (21 photos)
This is my friend Nichole's cat. It turns out he had to be put to sleep earlier this year. He was very sweet, though temperamental about when to be sweet. Also, he is a drapey kitty.

Spider. (8 photos)
This spider kept weaving a web across the door. It was never low enough to touch my head when I walked under it, but my roommate is much taller than me. He walked through it on a regular basis.

Stray cat named Fish. (33 photos)
I found this cat outside my apartment. He's living in my bathroom at the moment. I'm trying to find a no-kill shelter. Adult cats are harder to adopt out... I want to give him a chance.

PCon 2006, Chuck and Jeremy. (12 photos)
Jeremy claims that there is no camera that hasn't seen his ass. He is however not so keen on them seeing his face. Unbeknownst to him, this one saw both. Chuck is just the guy that evidently everyone knows... He knew me...

Penguicon 2006, Thursday night. (39 photos)
What started out as reservations at the Claddagh Irish Pub for 15 trumped up from 13 RSVP'd in case any extras showed up, turned into dinner for 22. It was great!

Fuschias (3 photos)
These flowers are everywhere in Ireland... There's hedges of them down the sides of roads that are as thick as I am tall, and over twice that tall. It's beautiful.

These were taken at the 2006 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee. This girl was out on the dance floor more than anyone else and was definitely having much more fun. She's got quite a family story too... Lucky, happy, carefree girl.

Fish babies! Day 3 (16 photos)
They're fish. I promise. Still don't look much like it though. Black dots are eyes, brown dots are tummies... And the white line is the tail.

Fish babies! Day 2 (10 photos)
They look like strawberry seeds with tails. Still a far cry from their parents. All fish start out looking like this though.

Fish babies! Day 1 (23 photos)
When the fish laid eggs this time, they laid them on the bottom. There was algae all over the bottom. I cleaned up a bit when I moved the parents... But I couldn't clean where the eggs were. So the babies are sitting on a little bed of algae.
